"I am proud to offer my wholehearted endorsement of Pat Warren for re-election as your Ward 2 Councillor.
As the owner of Gordon Yacht Harbour and The Yacht Club in Bobcaygeon, I have had the privilege of getting to know Pat over the past two years. Throughout that time, I have seen firsthand her unwavering commitment to our community and the people she serves.
Pat is the kind of leader who shows up. She listens, asks questions, and takes the time to understand the issues that matter most to residents and local businesses. Whether discussing waterfront improvements, tourism, economic development, or everyday concerns from constituents, she approaches every conversation with respect, thoughtfulness, and a genuine desire to make Ward 2 an even better place to live and work.
As I've invested in revitalizing Gordon Yacht Harbour and creating The Yacht Club as a gathering place for our community, Pat has provided overwhelming support to initiatives that strengthen our local economy while preserving the unique character that makes Bobcaygeon and the surrounding communities so special. She understands that supporting local businesses isn't just about commerce—it's about creating jobs, building community, and ensuring that future generations continue to enjoy everything Kawartha Lakes has to offer.
One of the qualities I admire most about Pat is her integrity. She is approachable, honest, and never afraid to have meaningful conversations, even when the issues are challenging. She treats everyone with respect, values differing opinions, and works hard to find practical solutions that benefit the community as a whole.
Leadership is about more than making decisions—it's about earning trust. Pat has earned mine through her dedication, professionalism, and consistent willingness to put the interests of Ward 2 first. She leads with humility, compassion, and common sense, qualities that are increasingly important in public service.
Ward 2 deserves experienced, thoughtful, and committed representation, and I believe Pat Warren has demonstrated those qualities throughout her time on Council. I am confident she will continue to serve our community with the same passion, integrity, and dedication that I have come to know.

“I have known Pat for years first at her place of business and, during the last 11 years, through working with her on several volunteer projects. I find Pat to be a careful and reasoned thinker who considers all angles when facing an issue or problem. It is important to Pat that everyone at the table has a voice and has the opportunity to express their views. Pat’s willingness to examine the issues, coupled with her open-minded approach, helps ensure that projects and final decisions take the wider view into consideration. Pat is flexible in her thinking, always willing to consider all sides of the equation. I find Pat to be honest and insightful. Pat follows through on her commitments and can be trusted to get a job done.
Even after putting in a full day at council or out working in the ward, Pat devotes her personal time to volunteering on numerous committees and projects. Pat is always looking for ways to better the community and tackle the issues impacting us all. She does this all while keeping an eye to the future to help the community to prepare for what lays ahead.
Although I live just outside Pat’s ward, and can’t vote for Pat myself, I would encourage Bobcaygeon residents of Ward 2 to vote for Pat to help steer us through the next term of council. I am confident that she will not only continue to represent Ward 2 well but that the entirety of the City of Kawartha Lakes will benefit from seating Pat on the next Council."
